Founded in 1845, University College Cork (UCC) is part of the three Queen's Colleges. UCC provides campus accommodation to students on the basis of a random lottery. To accept a room, one should send a confirmation and deposit amount within the first week after the announcement of allocation. For students who stay off-campus, UCC offers a search engine where students can find registered landlords.
Lodgings are usually available for €110 to €140 per person per week, with a deposit depending on the owner’s demands. Generally, electricity, internet, and meals are included in the rent.
