In December 2018, Trinity College Dublin received the European B-School Accreditation EQUIS, awarded on the basis of quality and level of internationalisation of business schools. Trinity College Dublin is one step closer now to achieving the triple accreditation for its Business School with two of the three most prestigious business school accreditations already awarded to Trinity. Only 90 Business Schools worldwide hold all three accreditations - The UK based AMBA (Association of MBA); European Quality Improvement System Accreditation EQUIS; and the US based AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate School of Business).
According to Andrew Bruke, Dean of Trinity College Dublin, “EQUIS top-tier international recognition for Trinity Business School is timely as we will be moving into our new €80 million state of the art building on campus in the New Year”. Bruke also stated that Trinity “aspires to attain all three accreditation by 2019” and that it is “already in stage three of the four stages to get an AACSB Accreditation”.
